Don't forget to get your entries in for Region IV Championship in Albuquerque! Due Friday May 13

Region IV Championships will be in lovely Albuquerque at the Expo New Mexico Fairgrounds. The competition offers all AVA National and FunFest classes. We are also offering compulsories to the right as a stand alone developmental FunFest class for all levels of trot and canter vaulters.

Regional champions will be awarded at the event!

Vaulters may earn qualifications for Nationals and scores toward the new 2022 Region IV Regional High Point Awards! We are also offering an Educational Clinic Track for Vaulters, Coaches, and Lungers which will take place Friday evening and Sunday all day, for just $30 per participant.

Clinic sessions include:

Friday Afternoon:

• Hands on Lungeing/Horse score feedback (while you warm up your horses) - Coaches/Lungers will sign up for specific session times.

Friday Evening 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM; your choice of one of the following:

• Competition Basics (How to improve your run in; the bell; rules everyone should know, such as when does judging start; what to do if you fall, etc.) For newer vaulters.

• Sports Psychology. For vaulters, coaches, lungers

Sunday 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM (timing is tentative)

• Through the eyes of the judge - How to read your score card and improve for next time; Compulsories & Freestyle (provided by the judges).

• Through the eyes of the judge - horse score

• Fun & helpful Acro & Dance sessions

• Lesson planning for coaches

• Lungeing basics for Coaches who are entering the Coaches training June 5-7.

• Group team practice & performance
